Black Rams thrive in warm, soft, slightly acidic water and prefer a well-planted aquarium with hiding spots and gentle water flow. They are generally peaceful and can be kept with other non-aggressive tank mates. With proper care, they display bright coloration, social behaviors, and even pair bonding during breeding.
